Bi-lingual advice

Advice in English & Polish

We offer no-obligation free consultations in both English and Polish. Our native Polish speaker Sylwester has lived in the UK for over 20 years and entered the mortgage and protection industry in 2014.

Whilst we are based in Portsmouth and have clients along the south coast from Bournemouth to Bognor Regis, we can offer advice online anywhere in the UK.

The first step would be to arrange a 30 minute call to discuss your circumstances such as if you have a deposit saved or available to you, your income and expenses and what you are hoping to achieve. We would then get to work doing our research and come back to you with your options.

We’ll search thousands of mortgage products, from over 100 lenders to ensure you get the product best tailored to you and your goals. We handle the application for you and will do a little happy dance when your mortgage offer gets issued!

We help hundreds of first time buyers and home movers, those remortaging their current property and buy to let landlords find the right mortgage product for them and ensure they are not missing out on the best deals.

All Your Queries Answered

We’ll Tell You The Answer Before You Ask The Question

Here are a few of the most common questions we’re asked on a daily basis

Unlike your high street bank who can only offer you their own products (of which they might have only a handful available to you), we will search thousands of products from over 100 lenders, saving you time and money. We also have access to some exclusive deals that you cannot get by going direct to the lender. We will make the application on your behalf and manage all of the paperwork for you.

Think of us like a matchmaker – matching you and your circumstances to the lender that suits you best.

Using a broker is great for those that are self employed, have poor credit, a low deposit or are not from the UK. All of these things are potential barriers for your bank, but there is a lender out there for everyone and we won’t rest until we find the right one for you.

No – you are under no obligation to use the in-house mortgage adviser from your estate agency and conditional selling (only allowing you to make an offer on a property if you use their mortgage adviser) is illegal.

An in-house broker’s primary loyalty is to the estate agents (who get paid a hefty referral commission for your custom) and their advice fees can often be higher than that of an independent broker.

Probably 3 months ago, but now is the next best option!

It is a great idea to speak to an adviser before you start looking for a property, this is because we can look at your circumstances and offer advise on small changes to make that will improve your chances of being accepted for a mortgage. We can tell you what lenders are looking for (or more importantly what they don’t want to see) on your bank statements and credit file and ensure that when the time comes to make an application we have already predicted the challenges we might come across.

If your current mortgage deal is coming to an end, reach out to a mortgage adviser 6 months before it expires. Many lenders will allow you to reserve a new rate 6 months in advance. Over those 6 months we will monitor the rates for you and if they go down, we can always change the product – but if they go up in that time, you can rest easy that you have already locked in the best deal.

We charge a broker fee when you are purchasing a property with us for the first time. This is due to the amount of extra care and paperwork that is involved when we are first getting to know you as a client. There are brokers out there that do not charge a fee, however you often get the service that you pay for. Our reviews are outstanding and our clients keep coming back to us time and time again.

Our standard fee for a purchase is £499 but could be up to £999 for more complex cases such as for people with a history of poor credit management and Limited Company Buy to Let purchases.

We do not charge a fee for remortgages or product switch applications.

Martin Lewis has described good mortgage advisers as being “worth their weight in gold” and we believe our expert advice and the amount you could save with our recommended lender makes us fantastic value for money.
