Founded by husband and wife team Sylwester and Charlotte in 2021.
Our aim is to offer clear, helpful advice through a friendly and supportive service. We are passionate about finding the deal that works best for you and your goals and are here to answer your questions – no matter how big or small. We want you to go away from our meetings feeling informed and empowered about your mortgage decisions.

Director of Simple Mortgages
Sylwester
Sylwester is director of Simple Mortgages and has been a mortgage and protection adviser for over 10 years. He arrived in the UK from Poland in 2005 and began his career in financial services in a high street bank, before moving to an estate agency where he gained his qualifications. After gaining industry experience, he became self employed and started building his own client base, before founding Simple Mortgages with his wife Charlotte in 2021.
As a native Polish speaker, Sylwester can converse with clients in Polish if they prefer. Many Polish speakers find this to be a huge benefit when they are discussing something as important as their mortgage. Sylwester is also happy to help people navigate the home buying process as it may be new to them if they did not grow up in the UK.
Sylwester is a morning person who loves to start his day with a strong black coffee and a smile. He loves to play volleyball but is equally happy when shouting support from the sidelines at his sons’ grassroots football matches. Sylwester’s ideal day would be spent hosting a barbecue for friends and family in the sun with latin music blasting in the background. When he decides to slow down he also enjoys a swim and sauna session and reading a good book.

Charlotte
Charlotte is director of Simple Mortgages and has run the business and back office since it began in 2021. She is now a qualified mortgage adviser and is building her own client base.
Charlotte is a super organised, to-do list enthusiast who is a pro at juggling busy family life. She is calm and creative and enjoys painting, baking and watching trashy TV. She’ll never say no to a cream tea – jam first of course! She loves yoga, long walks and hosting events for friends and family. In another life she would be a party planner or own a kitten café!
Furry Friends
Meet Cleo and Honey
The other members of our home office team are of the furry variety – cats Cleo and Honey.
Honey is our head of office security – often found sitting in the window, she will investigate when anyone comes to the door. She also makes sure we are getting our steps in by demanding we open the door for her a thousand times a day!
Cleo is our occupational therapist – ensuring our desk layouts are correct and reminding us of the importance of a good work-life balance through demonstrating frequent restful naps!
